I was very much inspired by a woman I saw at the Australian Open the other day. It wasn’t anything overtly special; it was just a very chic representation of the classic sporty style.
There’s something so effortlessly stylish about the combination of a smart silk scarf and a good pair of supportive sneakers. To add that classic touch, the crisp cotton shirt and aviator sunglasses complete the look.
Chocolat is one of my favourite films of all time. A lot of things about it are so perfect – the theme, location and the costumes are such feasts for the eyes. The main character, Vianne Rocher is an endearing heroine and her wardrobe is – quite frankly – just as delicious as the chocolate recipes featured in the film.
When it’s winter and it’s cold outside, the only food you can think of are hearty, home-cooked stews, creamy cakes and red wine. But when it’s summer and it’s nothing less than 30 degrees outside, all you want to devour are fresh fruits and colourful sorbets!
How cute are these pictures from Russh Magazine, digitally reproduced by The Libertine? They originally accompanied the annual 2012 astrology report by Susan Miller in the magazine. I love that each picture is a girly collection of prized possessions and little trinkets bursting with characters.
Like anybody else who celebrates the new year, this particular turn of time always reminds me of glitter, shimmer and sparkles. And then there are the beaches and the summer outdoor parties, because I live in Australia.
